The state of messaging security is strong, as the security industry has made the environment a difficult one for spammers and propagators of malware, who are always looking for ways to derive revenue from their efforts. But the industry must not get complacent, as spammers are already capitalizing on messaging standards that present new opportunities. In this presentation, a CipherTrust representative will discuss the messaging security threats and security best practices, as it relates to the type of threats being promulgated, techniques to identify and block those threats, and how to select, measure and report on the key performance indicators of that security system. SPEAKERS

Paul Sylvestre is the Regional Sales Manager for CipherTrust. Paul has over 10 years experience as a technical consultant for regulatory compliance and as a sales manager for content management software and appliance based information security. With a degree in Biochemistry and a Masters Degree in Public Health, Paul's particular specialty is in Healthcare driven regulatory compliance, where he helps organizations affected by these various regulatory requirements address their information security challenges with technology based solutions. Troy Yeske is CipherTrust's Regional Systems Engineer. Troy has been with CipherTrust for over 3 years, holding various technical positions. As one of CipherTrust's Technical Enterprise Account Manager, Troy has been closely involved with installation and ongoing support of CipherTrust's largest implementations, including WalMart, Bear Stearns and HSBC.
